The candy was sold primarily by Costco in bulk packages

The chocolate contains melamine which is the same
chemical responsible for killing several babies in
China, and sickening thousands more so do not buy

Purple Pansies

So the other day we decided to plant some flowers in the front yard. My mother in law suggested Purple Pansies because they last through the cold weather. So I got in the car with my mother in law, and the two little ones. We made our way to Home Depot and all helped pick out some pretty "Purple Pansies". We found Purple, bright yellow and purple, White and purple and light purple. We paid for them got into the car and made our way to Pace's to get an ice cream cone. Well on the way over there Brilee asked the funniest question, now keep in mind she was 100% serious about it.

Brilee: But Mommy I thought we were going to the store to get purple panties.

Me: Purple Panties??? Why would we be getting purple panties?

Brilee: Because you and Grandma said we were going to the store to get purple panties.

Me and Marge: Oh. LOL....

Me: No Brilee...we said we were going to get purple pansies which are the pretty purple flowers that we just bought. lol ;)

Brilee

So a milestone of Brilee's came about when she started Pre-School last Thursday! She was so excited to go. Its like she turned four and is all the sudden a sponge and wants to learn! She looked so cute. After I took her pictures and looked at them I about died...thinking to myself how old my baby looks. Well ladies and gentleman, she is no longer a baby. I will admit that now! She is so damn cute.

Brilee's First Soccer Game

Friday Night Brilee came down with a low grade fever of about 100. She was complaining of her throat, stomach and head hurting. Which Brilee is not a complainer, so I knew something was up. So I gave her some medicine and called it a night. She woke up at about 11:00 crying because she didn't feel good. I told her that we were not going to be able to go to her soccer game in the morning because she was sick. She started crying and said "But mommy can we go and I will sit and watch my friends?" So of course I agreed. In the morning we got ready and went.

Once we got there she went out with her team and warmed up a bit and started the game. She did great!!! For the whole two minutes she played! And yes that is her outrunning everyone! After about two minutes she tapped on her coaches hip asking her if she could please sit on her mommy's lap. So of course they let her out of the game and she watched the rest from the sidelines. Now as all of you know this is very unlike Brilee...She wants to be wherever the fun or action is at all times. Come to find out, she had strep throat. So, GOOD JOB BRILEE! Even if it was only for two minutes, at least she wanted to try. I on the other hand wouldn't have been able to get my butt out of bed!

Brilee is #2

Brilee and Kam's Hair cuts!

OK, so I know I have been slacking with the once a week thing. But in my defense, I have been crazy busy! Anyway, Kambrie and Brilee got their hair cut the other day. Kambrie's was much needed being that it was her first hair cut....well at least the first one I had control of. And Brilee's...well, you all know how long her hair was....it was just too long! Beautiful, but long. So Kambrie was first. Now, as you look at these pictures, please don't laugh....ok, you can laugh because yes...she did have a Mullet! You would never know because I always pull her hair up, but when we were in Cancun last May, Lances mom cut her bangs because they were driving her nuts. Which I cant complain...she watched my kids for 7 days....and that alone would drive a person nuts! So thanks to Vicki, Kambrie now has a cute little 1/2 mullet 1/2 bob! Only a couple more months until it is all grown out. But it definitely looks much better!

Now, Brilee's hair was ridiculously long. The little girl would not let me cut it. I have been trying for over a year. She has had it trimmed, but was for some reason attached to her hair. (Must have been the hundreds of comments she would receive on a weekly basis.)
So we cut about 6 inches off. And believe it or not, I got a bit teary eyed.
After it was cut, she went and looked in the mirror and said "But Mommy, I wanted it short like yours!" Ha! Yea right. There is no way in hell I could have done that the first time. So I told her next spring we would cut it shorter.

Anyway, they both look Beautiful! Thanks Vicki!

The Castle Park

Hello Everyone!

Today I decided to take the kids to the Park, which I find myself doing a lot lately...but I guess that is what you are supposed to do when you are home all day with the kids....right? Anyway, we went to the "Castle Park". Why didn't they have any parks like this when I was a kid? If I was a kid, I would have loved to go to the Castle Park....it is amazing! I mean come on...look at it!

Ok, so not the best picture, but still. ;)

We stayed for a couple hours and ate some pizza. Which by the way, I think I am going to retire pizza for a while....Blah. Brilee had a ball on the tire swing, and Kambrie just liked following Brilee around...which is what she does these days...she seems to be her little shadow and Brilee just eats it up!

On another note, Kambrie has found the Dryer! It is so funny to me, because Brilee was about a year and a half when she found the Dryer. And their pictures resemble each other so much...or at least so much through my eyes. Kambrie loves climbing in there and screams when I try to take her out just as Brilee would. Thank god they can not open it by themselves. ;)

They Mummify What???

I got this email today about people in SLC that mummify their animals...and I thought I would share it...WTF? Are you kidding me? Some people might just take it a little too far! I mean...come on. It costs $25,000 which is double, possibly triple the cost of a Funeral for a human. All I can say is Wow! I guess, whatever floats your boat!!!

It's FINALLY open!!!

So as many of you know, we have been devoting the last 6 months of our lives to this new company we have started up, Bleach Bright. It is a teeth whitening company that we set up shop in malls, salons, day spa's and also do in home party's!!! So if any of you want to do a teeth whitening party, just let me know! This whole thing has defiantly been an experience...needless to say a money pit for the time being. I mean I know you have to spend money to make money, but WOW! We opened our first location in the beginning of June. That location is in Boise.
In the beginning it wasn't doing so well because we had opened without a kiosk, we got the kiosk two weeks later and the numbers rocketed. So now that location is making some income...thank god.

We then had a date set for our Sandy store to open, and it had to be pushed back. The original date was in the end of June sometime. Well, when we got the kiosk the shipping company had beat the shit out of it. So at this point you can all imagine what Lance was doing....Freaking out! He put the kiosk back on the truck and told them to take it back. Once the designer got it back, they started a new one, which took another three weeks, well needless to say we finally got it delivered last Tuesday. Lance, Jason (my brother) and Milky ( a friend) went down to Southtowne Mall Thursday night and set the thing up. Something that was only supposed to take one and a half hours ended up taking 4 and a half hours. Apparently when they remade parts to the kiosk, they screwed up and were off an inch or so.....Thank god Jason was there, or Lance would have called the shipping company put it back on the truck and called it a day. That would of been the end of Bleach Bright. I am telling you everything that could of went wrong in the last two months...went wrong.

Anyway, the kiosk is now up and looks great! We opened Saturday Morning and sales were amazing. So, if any of you want your teeth whitened and you are in the Sandy area, stop on by! There is a Grand Opening special right now $79.99 and I bet if Lance knows ya, he'll even give ya a deal on top of that. So the title of this entry defiantly explains the excitement behind the "FINALLY".

The begining of a new path...

Well, hello all! So I have received quite a few of these "Blog spot" emails over the last year or so, and Nicole just sent me one yesterday....I guess you could say I am finally giving in and jumping on the blog bus! Its like peer pressure....and I'm sure I will be addicted to it just like all of you are. That being the reason I haven't jumped on yet. Oh, by the way....Thanks Nicole! You know I love ya!

Anyway, I thought I would start off by letting everyone know a bit about my life. I have a wonderful husband, Lance. He is one of the joy's of my life and is truly an amazing person. He loves me for who I am and allows me to be that person. I can truly say that I found the love of my life and will be with him forever. There are a couple other joys of my life.
Two of them being my Daughters, Brilee and Kambrie. Brilee just turned four years old about a week ago, and Kambrie is 20 months. Two little girls....who would of ever imagined. The other two joys of my life are my two step daughters...Kelsie and Kourtnie. They are truly amazing girls and I am blessed to have them in my life. I am very lucky that they accept and love me and that we have the relationship that we do. Kelsie is 13, and Kourtnie is 10 (almost 11) which is what she says if you ask how old she is. Four little girls...who really would have every imagined! These five people are five of the most important in my life. I am very blessed to have them all, and cant imagine life without any of them.

Currently I am kinda a stay at home mom. I would love to be full time, but unfortunately I cant say NO to anyone who attempts to bring a loan my way. Two years ago, I owned a contract processing company for home mortgages. I have been in the business for 9 years now and am ready to be out of it. As some of you know....and if you don't, Lance lost his job about a month and a half ago. He is currently working on a new business (Bleach Bright) that has been great so far, but is just starting up and taking a lot of time and money right now. Although going from a six figure income between the two of us to "unemployment" has been humbling. It is an experience that I am very glad that we have had to go through...it has made all of us more appreciative of what we have, and has made our family much stronger. I have faith that this business will work out though and we will be back on track in no time at all.
So that is pretty much me in a nutshell....a really small nutshell. If you stay tuned, you will learn much much more about our great family of Girls and one out numbered Guy. Oh poor Lance...sometimes I really feel for him. :)
